Summer Fundraising 
Despite not being able to run a fundraising Summer Fair this year, after half term we have lots planned to make sure the new building will be well kitted out for pupils.

Summer Rainbow Text Raffle
The Summer Text Raffle this year will be a special Rainbow Raffle, and we need your help. We would like each class to create a hamper, from donated gifts for twenty three amazing prizes! Each class has a colour of the rainbow, you can be as creative as you like (or just wrap in coloured paper if you get stuck), but please remember no nuts. See our information flyer for full details. Friday 25th June will be a non-uniform day when you can bring in your donations.

Class colour themes are:
Nursery RED
Reception ORANGE
Year 1 YELLOW
Year 2 GREEN
Year 3 BLUE
Year 4 PURPLE
Year 5 PINK
Year 6 GOLD

To enter the rainbow raffle itself text BOW21 to 70331, entry is £3 and winners will be drawn on 8 July at 5pm. First prize in the text raffle is £250 cash donated by Greenfield Estate Agency.

Funds raised through the raffle will be invested by GASPA in Grand Avenue School’s wish list. GASPA needs to raise funds for this and for other charitable purposes.

Summer Silent Auction
The brilliant GASPA volunteers Laura and Martine have secured 30 wonderful prize bundles for our Summer Silent Auction. Over £1,500 of donated gifts are waiting for your bids – we have days out, meals out, cosmetics, food, subscriptions, books and toys – something for everyone! The auction opens on 8 June, please bid generously confident in the knowledge that National Fundraising Scheme is operating the auction at the lowest fees we could find. Thanks to all our supporters who have donated items.

Second Hand Uniform – now online
We’re delighted to announce that second hand uniform sales are now online at https://www.pta-events.co.uk/gaspa/. Don’t worry we are still planning face to face sales but hopefully this move will offer added convience for Grand Avenue families as well as fundraising throughout the year.

GASPA is holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 22 April from 8 – 9 pm – it will be virtual – on the school’s zoom platform (https://zoom.us/join). Everyone is welcome but to join you will require a meeting id and password; which we will share separately with parents and carers through our parent rep network and via ParentMail. Please join us as we welcome new committee members and discuss fundraising plans.Agenda & flyer attached

Download our family trail map for just £3, and enjoy walking around Berrylands, spotting bunnies to solve Park Ranger Elliot’s carroty crime mystery. Running from Thursday 1 to Friday 16 April, buy your trail at www.pta-events.org/gaspa  & print copies for all those taking part.  Every family that completes the trail is entered into a special prize draw to win a family prize. It’s a circular (buggy friendly) route so you can begin at any point.

The Easter Uniform sale will take place on Thursday 12 April 10.30am – 12.30pm. Items from £1.50 and contactless payment available.

GASPA will be collecting uniform donations (clean and in good condition please) at the lower gate entrance from Monday 29 March – Wednesday 31 March.
