How the Committee Works
The PA Committee meet on a regular basis, usually once per half term, with smaller working groups meeting as necessary to organise larger or more complicated events. Details of the meetings are advertised on the GASPA Notice-board, which is located on the drive-way up the main entrance and on the GASPA PA website – www.gaspa.org.uk. The meetings are open to any parent who would like to find out more about the PA, or become involved in specific events. For details on the GASPA committee please see the GASPA Constitution
A list of current PA roles is listed below. The roles can be quite flexible to suit individual needs and also new roles can be created for specific events, or where skills are offered! Updated lists are sent out each year after the first PA meeting. If you would like to find out more about what is involved in a specific role, please speak to anyone on the list – we are always looking for and welcome new volunteers!

Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Our Annual General Meeting is held in March and is an opportunity for all parents to find out more about the PA including details of events run, funds raised and how the money was spent during the previous year. It is also the occasion when we can announce changes of committee members and roles.
Our class representatives undertake a very important role. We like to have usually two or three representatives per class who provide a link between individual classes and parents and the PA committee. The support from class representatives is vital when it comes to organising our main events and for the classes when organising coffee mornings and nights out! The class reps, organise cake stalls, swim rotas, rotas of help for the fairs and donations. We really could not manage without them. A list of Reps can be found on the PA website and PA notice-board.
